- Mélangez vos couleurs, assurez-vous que votre première couleur est un ton très clair, utilisez plus de peinture blanche.

- Positionnez soigneusement le papier sur le bloc d'impression à l'aide des guides. Pour être sûr de ne pas imprimer le papier à l'envers, faire un petit pli dans le coin supérieur gauche du papier ou marquer le coin arrière avec un stylo et positionnez toujours ce coin près de la "Tour Eiffel" sur le bloc d'impression.
- Carefully position the paper on the print pad using the guides. To ensure that the paper is not printed upside down, either make a small fold in the top left-hand corner of the paper or mark the back corner with a pen, and always position this corner close to the "Eiffel Tower" on the printing block.

- Placez le carton sur le papier pour éviter les bavures. (facultatif)
- Place the cardboard over the paper to avoid stains (optional).

Théorie des couleurs et texture de la peinture / Colour theory and paint texture
Colours opposite each other on the Colour-wheel will contrast strongly and complement each other. Colours next to each other will match and harmonise with each other.
By diluting your paint with different quantities of water, or varying the amount of paint, or printing the same block more than once, you can get very different textures to achieve different purposes.

You can also prepare two different colours or shades, then apply them side by side with two different sponges, then blend them together with a third damp sponge to get a gradient effect called 'Bokashi'.

Commencez par le ton le plus clair, puis devenez progressivement plus foncé jusqu'au à la fin.
Always start with the lightest tone, then get progressively darker until the end.
Block 2 - Choose a colour that contrasts with Block 1
Block 3 - Use the same colour as Block 2 but go a bit darker
Block 4 - These are the boats. Try a colour that harmonises with the Sky but contrasts with Block 2 and 3.
Block 5 - The second colour for the boats, this colour gives the print its accent. Why not try a strong colour that stands out.
Block 6 - The clouds. This block prints ontop of the Sky so it's not obligatory since the Sky is already printed. A harmonising colour tends to infer good weather, a contrasting colour makes it look like it's bad weather.
Block 7 - This changes everything. So don't judge your print until your have printed this block, as it contains a lot of detail and the signature. Use a very dark colour for this, avoid black, it will probably be too strong and boring. Why not recycle all your used colours to get a dark tone for this final impression. Try to get this done in one shot, making more than one impression risks the dreaded double line effect!
