A series of 10 colourways, just two prints per colour exist. This series depicts a clouded leopard battling ferociously with itself high above a tropical jungle river scene. This in my interpretation of the simple truth that our inner conflicts, struggles and worries are rarely grounded in the true reality of our lives, exaggerated constructs, our greatest fears that are very unlikely to be realised. The energy we spend fighting our own selves everyday is really wasted.

Krakatoa A year in the making, I imagined the creatures living on the neighboring islands of Krakatoa in 1883 were wiped out by that terrible eruption, an explosion so powerful and loud that the sound waves circled the earth. But did these creatures understand their fate? Or did they just interpret their reality based only on the concepts bound to their everyday lives? Would they comprehend the spectacle as a harmless explosion of mother nature? This series attempts to mirror how we (apes that we are) may be unable to grasp the consequences of climate change and other global issues that might simply be too big to comprehend.

Lockdown Covid 19 confinement experience in 2020 in art naïve style and inspired by the French painter Henri Rousseau. Depicting the surreal nature of being in lock-down, with not much except the internet (depicted by the snake) to inform ourselves of the outside world
The painting features some events in 2020, such as the search for a vaccine, incredible 'fake news' on the internet and footage of the unidentified flying object also known as the 'Tic-Tac' released by the Pentagon. I communicate the importance of caring and loving each other during these difficult times.
